European Mountain Ash - Sorbus aucuparia
The European Mountain Ash (Sorbus aucuparia) is a medium sized deciduous flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This species is very hardy and easy to grow. It is planted as much for the berry and fall color as the flower. This is definitely the most impressive species of Mountain Ash. The foliage can burn during droughts and in the hot sun. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
