Lemon Princess Spirea - Spiraea japonica 'Lemon Princess'

The Lemon Princess Spirea (Spiraea japonica 'Lemon Princess') is a small deciduous flowering shrub ideal for hedges, borders and commercial landscapes. This plant is very similar to Spiraea japonica 'Gold Mound', but is more compact and stays about half the size. Spent flowers allowed to go to seed can revert and become exotic invasive species in zones 6 and up. This is a cultivated variety of Spiraea japonica. The parent species is an exotic invasive species in much of the United States.
