Little Princess Spirea - Spiraea japonica 'Little Princess'

The Little Princess Spirea (Spiraea japonica 'Little Princess') is a small deciduous flowering shrub ideal for hedges, borders and commercial landscapes. This variety has persistent flowers and a naturally mounding habit. Shearing off spent flowers will cause the plant to rebloom. Spent flowers allowed to go to seed can revert and become exotic invasive species in zones 6 and up. This is a cultivated variety of Spiraea japonica. The parent species is an exotic invasive species in much of the United States.
