Snowmound Nippon Spirea - Spiraea nipponica 'Snowmound'
The Snowmound Nippon Spirea (Spiraea nipponica 'Snowmound') is a medium sized flowering shrub for landscapes, gardens, and borders. This species has a naturally sprawling habit with distinctive flower clusters running up the sides of branches rather than around and attached to them. This plant does best if planted where it can be pruned minimally. Shearing will destroy the habit. This plant is a cultivated variety of Spiraea nipponica.
