Garland Spirea - Spiraea X arguta

The Garland Spirea (Spiraea X arguta) is a medium sized flowering shrub for landscapes and gardens. This variety is distinct from the species in that the flowers encompass the length of long single branches. This plant looks best if allowed to roam and is minimally pruned. Shearing ruins the habit. This is a cultivated variety of Spiraea.
