Western Spirea - Spirea douglasii

The Western Spirea (Spirea douglasii) is a medium sized flowering shrub for landscapes, gardens, and naturalizing native to the Pacific Northwest. This species has a great summer flower and naturalizing habit that is good for erosion control. The seed heads are ideal for bird watching. This plant can be invasive outside of the native range. The native species is most common in production.
