Sapphire Berry - Symplocos paniculata

The Sapphire Berry (Symplocos paniculata) is a medium sized flowering tree for a landscape or garden specimen. This species has very showy flowers and berries on a small tree habit that makes for a good conversation piece¦until they smell the flowers. This plant has very stinky flowers. The native species is most common in production.
