Chinese Tree Lilac - Syringa pekinensis

The Chinese Tree Lilac (Syringa pekinensis) is a medium sized flowering tree for a landscape or garden specimen. This species is valued for the clustering white flower, nice clean habit, and exfoliating bark. This plant rarely achieves fall color before freezing in colder climates, and is not as hardy as Syringa reticulata. The native species is most common in production.
