Ipe Yellow Amapa - Tabebuia chrysotricha

The Ipe Yellow Amapa (Tabebuia chrysotricha) is a small flowering deciduous tree for warm climate landscapes and gardens. This plant is a prolific bloomer in early spring with a nice fuzzy gray leaf in summer. It can defoliate in fall, but is often evergreen in zones 10 and 11. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
