The Small-flowered Tamarix (Tamarix parviflora) is a large shrub or small tree for landscapes and gardens. This species has a nice airy texture and color splash that gives a coniferous feel without the evergreen foliage. This plant rarely reaches tree form under zone 7. The native species is most common in production.
