Baldcypress - Taxodium distichum

The Baldcypress (Taxodium distichum) is a large deciduous coniferous tree native to the Eastern United States. This species is a common swamp tree that can grow in standing water and develop overly flared trunks and "knees" on the roots. It is also drought tolerant and great for urban usage. This plant has no negatives of note. The native species is most common in production.
