Canadian Yew - Taxus canadensis

The Canadian Yew (Taxus canadensis) is a medium sized evergreen for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing native to the Notheast US and Eastern Canada. This species is best suited for well lit understories in highly acidic soil. The plant is naturally scraggly so not the most suited for cultivation. The native species is most common in production.
