Narrow Leaf Yellow Bells - Tecoma stans angustata

The Narrow Leaf Yellow Bells (Tecoma stans angustata) is a large flowering deciduous shrub or small tree for landscapes and gardens. This is a great plant for a fall show to make it seem like summer is just starting. The branching habit is really not conducive to developing trunks, so using it as a large shrub is recommended. The nectar of these flowers is poisonous, and reactions have been suspected to honey produced by it. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
