Eastern Arborvitae - Thuja occidentalis

The Eastern Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis) is an upright coniferous evergreen ideal for landscapes, gardens, and hedging that is native to the Eastern United States. This species is fast growing with hardy dark green foliage that responds well to pruning and even sheering. This plant is prone to bagworms and ice damage. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
