White Tipped Canadian Hemlock - Tsuga canadensis 'Albospica'

The White Tipped Canadian Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis 'Albospica') is a pyramidal coniferous tree for landscapes and gardens. This variety is smaller than the species. The new growth comes out white and turns green by fall. The wooly adelgid (an insect) is ravaging the species in the Southern Appalachians. This is a cultivated variety of Tsgua canadensis. Photos from the parent species my aid in identification.
