The Weeping Canadian Hemlock (Tsuga canadensis 'Pendula') is a weeping coniferous specimen for landscapes and gardens. This variety can be staked or grafted to the desired height or just grown as a shrub. The wooly adelgid (an insect) is ravaging the species in the Southern Appalachians. This is a cultivated variety of Tsgua canadensis. Photos from the parent species my aid in identification.
