The Seiju Dwarf Lacebark Elm (Ulmus parvifolia 'Seiju') is a large shrub or small tree for landscapes and gardens. This variety is a best used as a large shrub or possibly a container plant. This plant is extremely prone to suckering and requires maintenance to keep as a tree. The suckers also create a cork-like bark negating the exfoliating traits of the species.
