Mexican Buckeye - Unganadia speciosa

The Mexican Buckeye (Unganadia speciosa) is a small deciduous flowering tree for landscapes and gardens. This is an empressive tree when in bloom. The flower and nut look almost identical to a Buckeye, even they it is not related to Aesculus. It also has a nice golden fall color. The seeds of this plant are poisonous. The native species is most common in production.
