Chaste Tree - Vitex agnus-castus

The Chaste Tree (Vitex agnus-castus) is a deciduous flowering shrub or tree for landscapes, gardens, and especially borders. This species has a nice showy flower in bloom. The seeds add a nice winter texture, and the marijuana looking leaf catches people's eye in a border. This plant has very weak wood that requires some grooming. The native species is most common in production.
