Arabian Lilac - Vitex trifolia

The Arabian Lilac (Vitex trifolia) is a broadleaf evergreen flowering shrub for landscapes and gardens. This plant has a fragrant purple flower in spring with fuzzy evergreen leaves. It responds well to pruning, and grows well in shallow soil. This plant has become invasive in Florida and should be used with caution in tropical climates. This plant also requires regular water and well drained soil. The native species is most common in production.
