Weigela - Weigela florida

The Weigela (Weigela florida) is a deciduous flowering shrub or tree for landscapes, gardens, and especially borders. This species has very prolific flowers for long periods in summer with a mounding sprawling habit. Tip prune only, as shearing can destroy the habit of this plant for life. There are more cultivars of this species in production.
