White Knight Weigela - Weigela florida 'White Knight'
The White Knight Weigela (Weigela florida 'White Knight') is a deciduous flowering shrub or tree for landscapes, gardens, and especially borders. This species has very prolific flowers for long periods in summer with a mounding sprawling habit. This particulare variety is know for having white flowers, but the pink buds still make it look pink from a distance. Tip prune only, as shearing can destroy the habit of this plant for life. This plant is a cultivated variety of Weigela forida. Photos from the parent species may aid in identification.
