Weigela - Weigela praecox

The Weigela (Weigela praecox) is a deciduous flowering shrub or tree for landscapes, gardens, and especially borders. this variety responds better to light pruning that Weigelia florida, and has a more upright and narrow habit. Tip prune only, as shearing can destroy the habit of this plant for life. There are numerous cultivars of this species in production.
