The Emerald Isle Leyland Cypress (XCupressocyparis leylandii 'Emerald Isle') is a medium sized pyramidal evergreen for landscapes and borders. It is often grown as a ten to fifteen foot hedge. This plant is extremely hardy, fast growing, and responds well to trimming. The branches are prone to ice and wind damage. This is a cultivated variety of XCupressocyparis leylandii.
