Golconda Leyland Cypress - XCupressocyparis leylandii 'Golconda'
The Golconda Leyland Cypress (XCupressocyparis leylandii 'Golconda') is a medium sized pyramidal evergreen for landscapes and borders. It is often grown as a ten to fifteen foot hedge. The bright yellow foliage adds color to landscapes and gardens year round. It is extremely hardy, fast growing, and responds well to trimming. The branches are prone to ice and wind damage. The yellow needles may burn in the hot afternoon sun. This is a cultivated variety of XCupressocyparis leylandii.
