Leyland Cypress - XCupressocyparis leylandii

The Leyland Cypress (XCupressocyparis leylandii) is a large pyramidal evergreen for landscapes and borders. It is often grown as a ten to fifteen foot hedge. This plant is extremely hardy, fast growing, and responds well to trimming. The branches are prone to ice and wind damage. This plant is a hybrid of Cupressus macrocarpa x Chamaecyparis nootkatensis.
