Mountain Yucca - Yucca schottii

The Mountain Yucca (Yucca schottii) is a broadleaf evergreen tree native to the Southwestern United States and ideal for landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. This is a very drought tolerant variety that does best in desert climates. The flowers are smaller that others, but the seeds are viable and it naturalizes well. This plant has the typical prickly leaf tips of a Yucca, but requires very little handling. The native species is most common in production.
