Torrey Yucca - Yucca torreyi

The Torrey Yucca (Yucca torreyi) is a broadleaf evergreen tree native to Texas and Mexico that is ideal landscapes, gardens and naturalizing. This plant develops a distinctive skirt of dead foliate with age. If left alone it can almost look like a long flowing gown. This plant has the typical prickly leaf tips of a Yucca, but requires very little handling. The native species is most common in production.
